Cushions

I made some cushions for +Alison Woogara  and +Nadine Woogara 's birthdays. Mum gave me an extra challenge by only providing me with enough fabric to comfortably make 1 cushion, so they ended up being a bit patchwork on the back.

Turkish trousers

Mina, helping with the pleating
I attempted to make some Turkish trousers for +Kalyn Wilson using this pattern. The pattern required a certain amount of interpretation, and I annoyingly made a couple of mistakes, but I think it's at least wearable and I got a lot of practice in making pleats! I'll add some pictures of her wearing it at the 1318 LARP this weekend.

I've added a project in my sewing circle.
Yay, finished trousers.

Jane Austen dress

I made this dress so that we could go to the Jane Austen ball in Bath. Unfortunately I didn't have time to make +Nadine Woogara one too, so her's was hired, maybe next time. I used this pattern.

Star Trek Tailcoat and Corset

For Sid and Liz' wedding I made a tailcoat and corset, as I was the best (wo)man :)

Star Trek tail coat

The corset I drafted myself and I was very pleased with the outcome. Note the tick on the hip which is based on Next Gen uniform.

 Lots of pips :)
The tailcoat was based on the pattern V7906 http://voguepatterns.mccall.com/v7906-products-335.php?page_id=3534 I extended the back to make the tail.
