Chilly 10k

 Ran this race with +Greg Wilson and  +Shaney Orrowe both of whom beat me :( must sport harder next time.

Izzy's birthday clothes

So Izzy is 1 in a couple of days so I thought I'd try to embroider some things. First finding plain tops for kids is really hard, especially for girls so I went for two boy tops. Then I discovered that the large hoop is too big for the tiny tops so I had to reduce my designs down to the size of my smallest hoop. Luckily I have Embird and eventually figured out how to do it.

I used the following designs:

• Bee Happy
• Sweet As Honey
• Fancy Feather
• Light as Air

So I happily stitched away:

Yay a bee design :)

Then I thought about some wings:

'cos, you know, only girls have wings. Then I got carried away, and decided to stitch the front of this top too.

You'll note the surprise Cthulhu in the corner of that feather : 

 Well that's because he was my solution to the hole that I created by stitching the front to the back. Grrr, I think it must have got bunched up underneath the hoop when I wasn't paying attention. So this top is inspired by Dark Crystal with added surprise Cthulhus. Happy birthday Izzy :)

Sea creature towels

 I looked around for some more stuff to embroider and found towels :) I used the following designs:

• Jellyfish doodle
• Seahorse doodle 
• Dolphin doodle

 

Multicoloured Cowl

I started making a stripy scarf but then the ends kept getting in the way, so I made it into a cowl instead. Now I have a complete winter set of multicoloured things.

Max has been busy making all the chairs muddy and furry so I've started making removable covers to make things look a bit better.
